Activities at Newton House Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Newton House Activities Team
Amanda, Sabrina, Karen and Jill make up our fantastic Activities Team here at Newton House. They develop and oversee an active living programme for each resident, which encourages mobility, social contact, independence and fun. Each and every person can thrive and live to their full potential with no day ever being the same. They bring great enthusiasm and spark to Newton House and have one passion, which is to deliver an amazing and vibrant activities programme to cater to all tastes and abilities.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Newton House Care Home
Garden Themed Area
Residents enjoyed our newly created garden themed area at Newton House. They can now enjoy the sunshine, without the outside chills.
Carers Week
Care staff at Newton House were presented with wrist bands and treated to cakes for carers week. I gesture of appreciation for all that they do. A big thank you.
Flowers for June
Our resident Maurice who lives on the same community at June, presented her with some lovely flowers at Newton House. It certainly helped keep her spirits up during the pandemic lockdown.
Afternoon Tea & Bingo
Residents at Newton House enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, followed by a game of musical bingo!
Fancy Dress Friday
Staff were lifting positivity by putting smiles on the faces of all the residents with Fancy Dress Friday!
