Activities at Atfield House Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Wear it Pink

Atfield House took part in Wear it Pink for breast cancer awareness and raised £200.00 for breast cancer research and care.

World Kindness Day

In celebration of World Kindness Day, the residents of Atfield House gathered for a special arts & crafts session. We painted and pieced together a beautiful solar system, which we then gifted to The Blue School students.

Halloween at Atfield

We love Halloween, so we gathered around our pumpkins for a fun carving session. Once they were spooky enough, everyone had fun naming them. We placed them in our garden so they could be spotted from the street, as we had signed up for the Pumpkin Trail.

Gingerbread men delivery

Residents were treated to beautiful handmade biscuits that were hand delivered from Belmont School. It was such a lovely and thoughtful treat for everyone. They came complete with a lovely note too. It certainly put a smile on everyone's face.

Cheers

Everyday is a celebration at Atfield House. Today we drank Prosecco and toasted to all our friends, Those near and far. We reminisced about times spent with food friends and family too.

Tea time treats

Staff were all treated to Donuts as a little way of showing appreciation for all the hard work and commitment they show to our residents every day.
