Atfield House is a warm and welcoming purpose-built care home in Isleworth, providing excellent 24-hour nursing and residential care. We also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care.

Atfield House has an experienced and dedicated management team who are committed to delivering high standards of compassionate care to all residents in the care home. Our team of highly qualified and attentive staff focus on the individual needs of our residents. We are frequently told that all who live here or visit are made to feel very welcome at Atfield House. We are very proud of this feedback and of our reputation in the local community.

Our ground floor Memory Lane Community (a dedicated unit for people living with dementia) has 28 single rooms with en-suite toilets, spacious corridors ensuring that there is plenty of natural light, a dining room and lounge and a quiet lounge. There is an enclosed sensory garden which residents can access easily. Each resident personalises their room with art work, photos, decorative items and small items of furniture.

Our two units for physically frail older people each have their own lounge. Our large dining room, opening out onto our beautiful gardens is much enjoyed by our residents, their relatives and friends. We make the most of our surroundings for a lively and inclusive programme of activities.

We are located on the old Watney’s brewery site, within walking distance of Old Isleworth with its cafes, pubs and access to the River Thames. St John’s Park is a step across the road, surrounded by a lively local community.

Drop in and see us or come for lunch and try our home-cooked, delicious menu. We look forward to meeting you.

We want to ensure that all residents are happy with their care, the activities they take part in, the menus provided by our talented chefs and the environment in which they live.

Care Home in London | Atfield House

Elaine Robson

General Manager

I have been a Registered nurse for 36 years, working with older people in care homes and the community for 20 years. I was very fortunate at the start of my career to work in a very forward looking environment that was advocating person centred care. This is the way I have continued to care for Residents.

I have worked for several companies, I moved to Atfield House in July 2012. I hope to finish my working career with Barchester Health Care. I am fortunate to be managing a dedicated team some of whom have been in post since Atfield House opened in 1997.

On a personal level I have two children, three cats and have recently acquired a springer spaniel puppy called Ruby. Ruby will come to work with me. I unwind at weekends by going to the Stoop and cheering on Harlequins.
