Activities at Waterside Court Care Home

We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.

Life at Waterside Court Care Home

Summer Fete

Due to the the unfortunate cancellation of our Summer Fete, our residents and family members who did join us for a lovely indoor BBQ and Buffet lunch. We had the Wallingford Tuneless Choir who were amazing! A visit from the Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary

Thank you to those who helped and joined us on this day to make it the best day despite the weather.

Cafe Meet Up

We took a trip out to our local cafe to meet up with friends and family this week. Going out and about in the local community is an every day part of life that does not stop when you live at Waterside Court.

Garden Club Harvest!

Wonderful news from our Garden Club, we had our Second Harvest!

Well done to our residents who worked hard looking after these wonderful selection of tomatoes and courgettes. It's great to see that our residents harvested these themselves. We also sent them to our kitchen... I wonder what the kitchen will have in store for us.

Gardening Passion

Our residents wanted more flowers in our garden so here we have Julie and Heather planting in our raised flower beds to their own design... cold drinks and conversation at the table until supper time.
