Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Zoe Grindley
Hello My name is Zoe, I have been in the life enrichment team at Southgate Beaumont since December 2021.
I am originally from Liverpool and moved to London in 1997 after being accepted at Mountview Theatre school. After graduating I worked as an actress and accomplished voiceover artist for many years. I also have a vast amount customer service experience, working in many West End Theatres, as Cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and at Claridges hotel in Mayfair.
Zoe has a passion for making strong connections with people and creating lasting memorable experiences.
My role here at Southgate Beaumont is to ensure our residents lives are packed full of enriching and interesting activity. We provide a wide range of both home led and community led activity for all residents as well as personalised and individual hobby and interest focused events. Our programme ranges from cocktail making, to art history talks, exercise sessions as well as fine dining dinner parties catered for by our chefs
I have made lots of lovely new friends at Southgate Beaumont care home and look forward to making many more.

All aboard... We set sail on our virtual cruise to Greece. Our chef prepaired some delicious greek food Residents got to try Melomakarona and Triopitakia it was wondferful. It really was such fun dancing to greek music and enjoying a different culture, Where should we go next ?
Care Awards Final
All of the residents and staff at Southgate came together to celebrate Guyatri who was nominated and won the Divisional Care practitioner of the year award. We had a big party for the live Barchester finals
Cheese and Wine tasting
Our fantastic Head chef lead us in a cheese and wine tasting event at Southgate , We sampled some delicious brittish cheeses paired with lovely wines
