Meet the Southgate Beaumont Care Community Team

Hello my name is Sheila, I am the Deputy Manager at Southgate Beaumont.

I joined Barchester in 2014. I was a unit manager for 9 years and was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2023. I am a registered nurse and have always loved what I do. 

Nursing is my passion. It is a unique field that allows me to enjoy the reward of serving others, while growing professionally and personally. It can bring obstacles and opportunities that continually challenge me to be the best person I can be.

I endeavour to deliver person's centered care of the highest standard to our residents and ensure they smile and laugh every single day. 

Hello, My name is Teresa and I am a nurse and the Dementia Champion at Southgate Beaumont.

I joined Barchester in 2012. I have been a nurse for over 15 years now and really enjoy my job. I am here to help with any worries and offer support to residents or their families, currently living with dementia

Hello I am Veronica, I am the home administrator here at Southgate Beaumont.  I joined Barchester in 2019 as a receptionist and administration assistant. I was delighted to take on the role as Home Administrator in 2023.

I have a degree in business and Human resources management and really enjoy me role.

I love working the residents and their loved ones and I am very proud to be part of the Southgate Beaumont family.

Hello my name is Daniel and I am Head Chef at Southgate Beaumont

I love being a Chef and my interest in cooking came from helping my mum when I was growing up.

I went to Crawley college to do an NVQ in Catering and Hospitality and took on a work placement in a prestigious hotel in Sussex

After qualifying at a Chef I moved to London in 2001 and worked in various gastro pubs and restaurants with in The Conran Group. I also worked at Soho House and cooked for many high profile celebrities.

I have been working at Southgate Beaumont since August 2019 as Head Chef and love being part of the team. In January 2022 I was invited to attend the Barchester Chef academy where I am involved in the coaching and support of trainee chef’s across the Barchester Group Jan 2022

I really enjoy meeting and getting to know residents. It makes me very happy to see the delight and enjoyment my food brings to people.

Hello, I am Patricia and have been at Southgate Beaumont since 2016. I joined the team as a housekeeping assistant and now oversee the team as the Head of House Keeping and manage the daily running of laundry, washing, ironing and labelling of clothing. I work with lovely hard-working colleagues, and love getting to know the residents at Southgate Beaumont. I really enjoy my role and take much pride in ensuring the home is well looked after. and beautifully clean.  

Hello. My name is Guyatri and I have worked at Southgate Beaumont since 2003.

My first role was as a Care Assistant, then later I developed my studies and was promoted to a Senior Carer. I have now completed a NVQ for a Care Practitioner and now work alongside nurses. I love being part of the Southgate Beaumont family and I am very proud to be part of such a great team. 

I am very dedicated to ensure our residents are provided with high quality care and look forward to welcoming you in our home to experience the same.

My name is Andrea and I am the clinical lead at Southgate Beaumont. I joined Barchester in 2015. I have a passion for working with our elderly community and this was always my aim through my nursing degree. I am very proud to be part of such a wonderful team. As well as caring for our residents I work with medical professionals such as the GP and Tissue Viability Nurses to ensure residents are given the very best of clinical and nursing support.   

Hello, my name is Prisca and I joined Southgate Beaumont in 2017. Nursing is a profession that I have always wanted to pursue from an early age. Nothing fulfils me more than putting a smile on a residents face. Being a nurse brings me so much joy. My passion is delivering first class nursing ensuring everyone receives the high standard of care. 

Hello My name is Zoe, I have been in the life enrichment team at Southgate Beaumont since December 2021.

I am originally from Liverpool and moved to London in 1997 after being accepted at Mountview Theatre school. After graduating I worked as an actress and accomplished voiceover artist for many years. I also have a vast amount customer service experience, working in many West End Theatres, as Cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and at Claridges hotel in Mayfair. 

Zoe has a passion for making strong connections with people and creating lasting memorable experiences.  

My role here at Southgate Beaumont is to ensure our residents lives are packed full of enriching and interesting activity. We provide a wide range of both home led and community led activity for all residents as well as personalised and individual hobby and interest focused events. Our programme ranges from cocktail making, to art history talks, exercise sessions as well as fine dining dinner parties catered for by our chefs

I have made lots of lovely new friends at Southgate Beaumont care home and look forward to making many more. 

Hello, My name is John and I have just recently been promoted as the Head of Maintenance, after assisting in the department for some time. I joined Barchester in 2018 and take pride in dedicating, committing myself to support all the residents.

I joined Barchester in February 2023 and absolutely love working with residents and the team at Southgate Beaumont. I am passionate about providing the best service to residents and their visitors.
