Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Zoe Grindley
Hello My name is Zoe, I have been in the life enrichment team at Southgate Beaumont since December 2021.
I am originally from Liverpool and moved to London in 1997 after being accepted at Mountview Theatre school. After graduating I worked as an actress and accomplished voiceover artist for many years. I also have a vast amount customer service experience, working in many West End Theatres, as Cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and at Claridges hotel in Mayfair.
Zoe has a passion for making strong connections with people and creating lasting memorable experiences.
My role here at Southgate Beaumont is to ensure our residents lives are packed full of enriching and interesting activity. We provide a wide range of both home led and community led activity for all residents as well as personalised and individual hobby and interest focused events. Our programme ranges from cocktail making, to art history talks, exercise sessions as well as fine dining dinner parties catered for by our chefs
I have made lots of lovely new friends at Southgate Beaumont care home and look forward to making many more.

Southgate Beaumont's residents and team members are delighted to be working on a number of exciting projects with The Tottenham Hotspurs Foundation. Later this month we have a Walk to mark Global Dementia Month and Sporting memories event on Sporting Memories Day. A day trip on the canal.
Day trip to Broxbourne !!
Residents at Southgate Beaumont went on a lovely trip to Broxbourne. Broxbourne is a town in Hertfordshire,17.1 miles north of Central London. The River Lee (or Lea) runs through Hertford on its way to London and it is joined in Hertford by three other rivers, the River Mimram, the River Beane and the River Rib. A canal called the Lee Navigation runs south from Hertford and barges can be hired.
It was a lovely sunny day and very interesting watching life on the canal. It was Eileen’s birthday so we toasted her birthday with a crisp glass of wine at The Crown Pub and a delious fish and chip lunch. What glorious day.
60th Anniversary Celebrations for Jeanne and Bernard
Diamond Anniversary Celebrations for Jeanne & Bernard.
The team at Southgate Beaumont arranged a wonderful surprise party to celebrate Jeanne and Bernard's Diamond Anniversary. There Chef prepared delicious canapes and there was plenty of fizz. The couple were very surprised and said it was a wonderful way to spend their anniversary and another lovely memory to add to their 60 years. Congratulations on your anniversary Jeanne & Bernard and here is to many more.

Science has proven the remarkable effect animal have on their human companions. Stroking a pet has been shown to lower blood pressure and the heart rate, bringing a calming and relaxing effect but most of all pets bring joy and love and there was lots of that.

Southgate Beaumont's Professionals Breakfast !!
A beautiful morning for our team at Southgate Beaumont to connect with our local community. We met on our terrace garden and enjoyed delicious home-made flapjacks, pastries and bacon rolls with tea, coffee and iced juice. All prepared by Head Chef Danielle and his team. It was great to catch up and discuss ways of working together in the future.
General Manager Beatrice said "We are closely connected with our local community and are always keen to build new relationships with local professionals and look forward to forming links to support and complement each other'.
Time for Tennis.
It's Pimm's O'clock at Southgate Beaumont as we enjoy the tennis and get ready for the big Match this evening. We have the opportunity to watch the match is our beautiful central lounge or in one of the smaller lounges. The Chef and his team have made some delicious snacks and Laura and Iva from our lifestyle team have kept our glasses topped up. Good luck to all.
