Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Zoe Grindley
Hello My name is Zoe, I have been in the life enrichment team at Southgate Beaumont since December 2021.
I am originally from Liverpool and moved to London in 1997 after being accepted at Mountview Theatre school. After graduating I worked as an actress and accomplished voiceover artist for many years. I also have a vast amount customer service experience, working in many West End Theatres, as Cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and at Claridges hotel in Mayfair.
Zoe has a passion for making strong connections with people and creating lasting memorable experiences.
My role here at Southgate Beaumont is to ensure our residents lives are packed full of enriching and interesting activity. We provide a wide range of both home led and community led activity for all residents as well as personalised and individual hobby and interest focused events. Our programme ranges from cocktail making, to art history talks, exercise sessions as well as fine dining dinner parties catered for by our chefs
I have made lots of lovely new friends at Southgate Beaumont care home and look forward to making many more.

Life at Southgate Beaumont Care Community
Planting herbs in our Kitchen Garden
Southgate Beaumont has the most beautiful gardens and we love spending time in them. We wanted to share them with our local community and so invited our friends and neighbour's to join us for a picnic and to help us plant some new raised beds. Residents love to potter around in the garden so we have decided to grow all our own herbs and we can wait to see how the chef will use them in the kitchen.

It's national picnic week !! National picnic week urges us to grab a picnic and get outdoors and that's exactly what we did. We enjoyed s delicious picnic prepared by our head chef Daniel and his team, there was fizz and fabulous live entertainment by Natalia. A glorious afternoon at Southgate Beaumont with friends and family.

What a joyful day we had celebrating Fathers day at Southgate Beaumont. Charles had a wonderful day celebrating with his wife Moira and daughter Michelle. Happy Fathers Day !!

National Beer day.
Bottoms up for National Beer day and what a glorious day it was for it. Our hospitality team served a range of British ales for residents to sample and we enjoyed beer tasting in the garden with a range of delicious bar snacks. We were delighted to welcome residents friends and family and members of the local community for a wonderful afternoon. Happy National Beer Day. Cheers !
Pet therapy at Southgate Beaumont
Today we had a very special visitor at Southgate Beaumont, Toby and he was a huge hit with us all. It was smiles all round when Toby the Yorkie - Pom came for his first visit to Southgate Beaumont. Booming Haus Floral Masterclass Virtual Event.
Southgate Beaumont were delighted to spend time creating a beautiful floral masterpiece to enter the #BloomingBarchester competition in partnership with Blooming Haus following their amazing virtual flower arranging masterclass. We all had a wonderful time decorating and working on our arrangement and we are happy to say we were impressed with our skills in applying all the tips and ideas learnt during the class to make a colourful floral design.
