Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Performing Pets
Shelburne Lodge would like to say a massive thank you to performing pets who visited us with a 6 week old baby owl called Bonzo.
Everyone enjoyed meeting Bonzo!!
Falls Prevention workshop
To mark falls awareness week, Mansukh discussed the importance of falls prevention process and how to avoid incidents. The workshop was attended by residents from our home and also our staff. Everyone found the workshop very helpful and we've all taken a lot of useful information away with us.
A surprise for Lawrence.
There was a lovely surprise for Shelburne Lodge when Justine, daughter of resident Lawrence Rugless, came to sing for us all. It was Justine's birthday and as part of her birthday celebrations she serenaded us. Lawrence was as proud as punch. Lawrence said "It made me so happy to hear Justine sing. It was a just wonderful." After we all gathered for afternoon tea prepared by our Chefs.
Thank you Justine, we had a lovely afternoon and happy birthday from all at Shelburne Lodge.

Residents were delighted to be joined by St Andrews Church and welcomed them into our home for a Church Service.

Pet therapy at Shelburne Lodge!
Shelburne Lodge had a wonderful visit from our friends at Performing Pets who bought along some lovely cuddly bunnies, who are just 12 weeks old.
Everyone enjoyed meeting them and had lots of cuddles. We always look forward to seeing our lovely furry friends and cant wait to see who Performing pets bring to meet us next month.
A visit from 3 little Piglets.
Shelburne Lodge would like to say a massive thank you to Performing Pets who visited us this morning with 3 beautiful baby piglets!
The piglets are 4 weeks old and everyone enjoyed having a cuddle and giving them a bottle of milk!
Pet therapy is one of the regular sessions our residents enjoy at Shelburne Lodge, all part of our like enrichment program.
