Summer BBQ

Staff, residents, relatives and the local community came together to enjoy a community BBQ that was held in the home’s grounds on Saturday 14th August.

The hospitality team and activities team at Shelburne Lodge served a selection of BBQ favourites which included burgers and hot dogs with the usual toppings. There was also a chocolate fountain with a variety of sweets and fruits, this was enjoyed by everyone who came to the event. We had a variety of summer music playing throughout the afternoon, there was lots of singing and dancing.

And They're Off...

Resents and staff at Shelburne lodge dressed to impress, donned their best hats, and had their bets at the ready for Royal Ascot.

We celebrated in a very Royal Ascot fashion by having a glass of fizz or Pimm's and lemonade, served with freshly baked scones the traditional way: with jam and cream.
