I visited the home to see a resident and the atmosphere was happy and residents were enjoying activities in the lounge.
The staff were friendly. The resident I visited said he was happy, and enjoyed the company of the other residents.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful home. The experience was delightful, largely due to the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. Each member of the team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and valued. The manager stood out as exceptionally approachable, always available to address any questions or concerns with a warm and attentive demeanor. The atmosphere of the home was inviting and inclusive, reflecting the dedication and care of the entire staff. Overall, my visit was truly enjoyable, and I left with a positive impression of the home's environment and the people who run it.

Lovely and beautiful home. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Management team were great, they listen to all of our questions and answered them all.

The home is beautifully decorated and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. The food is amazing, with a wide choice. Alex the Head Chef always prepares fabulous food which is well presented and is keen to make sure that it was enjoyable. The residents are always smiling and are usually found in the cafe enjoying the atmosphere. A lovely home and I always look forward to visiting.

I have visited Shelburne Lodge Care Home on numerous occasions and I have to say every time I have been very impressed. They have an amazing team, very supportive and good leaders that are always ready to help. They genuinely care about each resident’s well-being, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The home it's clean and looks lovely.
The food is another highlight. The meals are nutritious, delicious, and varied. The dining experience feels homely, with residents looking forward to mealtimes. The kitchen team goes the extra mile to ensure everyone is happy with their meals, and the presentation is always top-notch.

My mother lived in Shelburne Lodge for four and a half weeks. In the whole time she was there, she was cared for with kindness, dignity, professionalism and respect. The staff are friendly and with an upbeat and positive attitude right from the cleaner to the manager, they are all so kind and were so lovely to mum. Cleanliness is good as is the food and the activities bring joy and fun to the residents. In the final days of Mum’s life the staff not only took wonderful care of mum, they also cared for me and my sister as we stayed overnight to be with her. They were kind and caring and have left us with good memories of the end of her life. Thank you all at Shelburne Lodge I thoroughly recommend your care home to anyone needing your brilliant service.

"OUTSTANDING CARE AND EXCEPTIONAL STAFF. I cannot praise the Shelburne Lodge enough for the outstanding care they provide. From the moment my mum was placed, the warmth compassion and professionalism of the entire team have been evident. The staff truly go above and beyond, treated my mum as if she was their own family. The carers and nursing staff both day and night shifts were always attentive, kind and ensured my mums comfort at all times. The Housekeeping team maintain a spotless and welcoming environment. The Head Chef always prepared delicious high quality meals for the residents. The activities offered were engaging and of a very high standard, keeping the residents entertained and stimulated. Management was always available and supportive. Myself and my entire family were all extremely grateful and highly recommend The Shelburne Lodge to anyone seeking a compassionate and professional environment for their loved ones."

"The manager and her team were so supportive and the care mum received was amazing for her end of life. It was great to be able to bring our dog Ebony to see mum, they treated her like royalty. I cannot praise the team highly enough, especially with the difficulties in keeping all staff, residents and visitors safe and free from COVID-19. Mum passed away peacefully with dignity and her family beside her, thank you so very much."

"This is the most amazing care home! After a nightmare week of being in hospital, my mum was transferred to Shelburne Lodge for end of life care. It was a whole different experience. The staff were all extremely caring and supportive towards all of us and we felt that mum was being looked after compassionately and with dignity when we were not there. The manager is fantastic and runs a fabulous care home and team of staff. I cannot recommend this place enough!"
