Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Residents at Shelburne Lodge always look forward to Tuesday as that's when Jackie our much loved hairdresser visits. We loved to be pampered and love a new hair do!

Jackie has been part of the Shelburne family for many years and keeps us all looking glamorous. How fabulous do we look!

 

Residents write to The Queen.

Residents at Shelburne Lodge got together with the help of Katie, our general managers daughter and wrote a lovely letter to The Queen congratulating her on her Platinum Jubilee.

They were absolutely delighted to receive this wonderful reply form the Queen and it now take's pride of place at Shelburne Lodge.

Rose Timney, wife of Malcolm Timney resident at Shelburne Lodge very kindly shared her amazing talent with us for a painting master class. Rose used slate and painted these beautiful birds.

Shelburne Lodge was delighted to deliver some yummy treats of home baked brownies made especially by Marina Glen, Shelburne Lodge's general manager and a lovely fruit hamper to the Lunch Club at The Salvation Army in Frogmore High Wycombe.

Major Richard Thompsom said "We are delighted that our Lunch Club is able to meet again as the recent restrictions have started to lift and are very grateful for the kind gift from Shelburne Lodge."
