Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Shelburne Lodge Care Home
25 years of service.
To celebrate the fantastic achievements of Celia, 25 years of service and Nisha 10 years of service at Shelburne Lodge Care Home the residents and team held a party to say thank you. Rachel baked an amazing selection of cakes for everyone, Emily arranged a grazing table and Estelle presented the awards to a very surprised Celia and Nisha. The team had kept the party and presentation a surprise so it was lovely seeing their faces when they walked in to the room.
Thank you Celia and Nisha you are our very own super stars.

A wonderful afternoon of entertainment.
Residents and team members at Shelburne Lodge had a wonderful afternoon of entertainment with Graham Snarnell. Graham played a collection of old country folk songs. Residents had a lovely time singing and dancing along and enjoyed delicious refreshment prepared by the chef and his team.

A visit from the Students at Wycombe Abbey.
Shelburne Lodge are delighted to be working on and intergenerational project with the students from Wycombe Abbey.
This week students played card game with residents and reminisced about their favorite game shows.

Happy Carers Week!
Shelburne Lodge would like to take this great opportunity to recognise and thank our wonderful carers.
We are proud of each and every one of our care team for the outstanding care that they provide to our residents every single day. They always go above and beyond their role and for this we are truly grateful.
As part of the week, our carers received numerous donations and gifts from local organisations and businesses and lovely thank you cards from our community members, relatives and friends. Marina, General Manager organised a party to celebrate and say thank you.

Platinum Jubilee Celebrations are in full swing at Shelburne Lodge
The home has been decorated and preparations and underway for our fabulous celebrations at Shelburne Lodge.
Residents and team members enjoyed a lovely Jubilee Garden Party and were joined by their loved ones. Our head Chef Alex and the Team prepared a delicious BBQ,, their was plenty of Fizz and fabulous entertainment.
A Lovely afternoon was had by all.

Residents and team members at Shelburne Lodge enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of live music. We had a variety of entertainers playing instruments and singing. It was a lovely afternoon topped of with a glass of sherry!
