Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Flower Arranging

To celebrate national floral day our residents tried out flower arranging - everybody enjoyed arranging the beautiful blooms!

Animal Friends!

We were lucky enough at Ritson Lodge to have some animal friends come to visit the residents. From creepy crawlies to fluffy owls, residents were able to hold and touch a range of beautiful creatures.

Open Day

Ritson Lodge held its open day on Saturday, where we opened the doors to welcome the community into the home to enjoy our great activities and meet the team. We held a 1950's style tea party in celebration and had a fantastic singer perform for everybody. Residents and staff were up and dancing or singing along to their favorite tunes.

,

Wishing Tree!

At Ritson Lodge we celebrated the New Year by writing our wishes and pinning them onto our 'Wishing Tree'. Ritson Lodge will then strive to make these wishes come true for our residents! We also had a visitor from the Police Force, Natalie Simmons, who also made a wish on our tree. Natalie was stopping by to have a cup of tea and cake on her break - we encourage all from the emergency services to take a break with us at Ritson!

Merry Christmas from The Mayor

We were delighted to have the opportunity to welcome the Mayor of Great Yarmouth, Councillor Mary Coleman to Ritson Lodge to wish all of our residents a Merry Christmas!
