Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Cheese & Wine Evening
Ritson Lodge recently held a Cheese and Wine evening for the residents, where they were able to enjoy a range of treats.
Ukulele Entertainment!
Residents enjoyed the entertainment of some fantastic Ukulele players who sung along whilst they played. The residents at Ritson Lodge got into the spirit of the event by wearing cowboy hats!
Gardening Club
As spring hits Ritson Lodge, the residents are starting to plant seeds that will soon be planted out into our lovely gardens once the weather is warmer!
Stay and Play!
Residents at Ritson are now welcoming a Stay and Play Toddler group to the home on a monthly basis. The residents love playing with the little ones and it seems that everybody has a smile on their face!
St Patricks Day
Residents and staff at Ritson Lodge celebrated all things Irish for their St Patrick’s Day celebrations this week. In honour of the patron saint of Ireland, staff, residents and guests at the home marked the day by decorating the home with an Irish theme, dressing up in green accessories and singing along to some live music!
Red Nose Day
We had a party on Friday to raise money for Red Nose Day! Residents were up and dancing along to live music and everybody was able to enjoy baked treats made onsite by our lovely chefs.
