Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!
Rita Matusebiciute
Hi, my name is Rita and I am the Activities Coordinator.
I have many years of experience in Activities and I have been with Barchester since 2018. I previously worked in Chelsea in another Care Home working with all of the West End stars!
I love being part of the Ritson team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting and varied activities available every week. Learning about the residents and including their interests, hobbies and life experiences into the activities that we provide is one of the most rewarding aspects of working here. I am always one of the first to introduce myself to new residents so that we can chat about what kind of activities they enjoy.
Read our brochure 'Life-enriching activities' for more information about life in our care homes.

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Flipping Fun!
Pancake day was enjoyed by everybody at Ritson Lodge. The chefs showed residents the best technique to flip pancakes and everybody had a go! The pancakes were then enjoyed by all.
Fish 'n Chips at Southwold
Residents and staff at Ritson Lodge wrapped up warm and took to the mini bus on an exciting day out at Southwold. We had their famous fish and chips for lunch followed by some ice creams! We felt that summer had come early and can't wait for more fun-filled days out by the seaside.
Ice Creams on the Balcony
Our residents at Ritson Lodge enjoyed the uncharacteristic sunshine for this time of year, by having ice cream sundaes on the balcony whilst sitting in the sun rays.
Garden Centre Visit
Residents enjoyed a trip out this week to a local garden centre. They enjoyed perusing the books and plants and had tea and cake!
Pub Trip
We enjoyed an outing to the local pub, where residents could relax with a drink and some good pub grub.
Visit to Cherry Trees
Residents of Ritson Lodge enjoyed afternoon tea at our local garden centre, Cherry Trees.
