Activities at Paternoster House Care Home

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Jamie pops by and sings for our residents

We always have so much fun when Jamie Callis - Solo Artist comes to perform here at Paternoster House.

We all had a fantastic time singing and dancing our Saturday morning away to all their favourite songs and even one of our relatives jumped on the microphone to give us an extra special treat.

Dobbs weir

Residents have enjoyed a bus outings to Dobbs Weir. During the outing we explored the great outdoors taking in a lovely scenery and spent time feeding the ducks along Lea Valley River. Later we stopped in a local café and enjoyed an ice cream and a well deserved drink to cool us down.

White water rafting centre

A Great afternoon at the Lee Valley White Water Centre. Residents enjoyed a trip out today for some fresh air and a look around the Water Rafting Centre as part of our life enrichment program. We later stopped off for ice cream in the centre's terrace lounge. Everyone had an excellent day. The Lee Valley White Water Centre is a white-water slalom centre, that was constructed to host the canoe slalom events of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
