Hello, my name is Anu and I am the Deputy Manager here at Paternoster House.  I am passionate about working with the elderly and I am focused on providing the best possible care for them.  It is wonderful to work with such a wonderful team and in a beautiful home that offers our residents fulfilling lives.

Hello, my name is Janet and I am the Clinical Lead here at Paternoster House. I loved working as a nurse in this home and being able to provide the best care possible for our residents.  I am responsible for ensuring the highest standards of nursing care as well as a homely and caring environment for all our residents.  

Hello, my name is Stacey and I am head of the Parklands Community here at Paternoster House.  My absolute goal is to make sure myself and the team make our residents happy, provide them with all they need all along with the highest standards of care.   The Parklands Community is designed for those living with dementia and offers residents the opportunity to go into the courtyard and enjoy a range of activities.

Hello, my name is Desi and I’m the home administrator here at Paternoster House. It is a privilege to be able to provide support and advice to all our wonderful residents, their families and loved ones on the journey into care and throughout their stay within our home. I live local to Waltham Abbey, and in my spare time love to explore its historical buildings and beautiful surrounding countryside.

Hello, name is Ashley and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Paternoster House. 

My aim is to ensure every resident is as happy and active as possible. We host a wide variety of activities and live entertainment including singers and bands, animal and music therapies, art sessions, gardening and outings to the local community. 

I love getting to know new residents and their families and helping them to settle into life at Paternoster House.

Hello, my name is Sandy and I am the Activities Coordinator here at Paternoster House.  I have worked at the home for just over a year starting as part of the hospitality team, but when the opportunity to work as part of the activities team I jumped at the chance.  I have a background in working as an activities coordinator for children's activities at the local leisure centres, along with craft clubs after school and Messy play for toddlers.

I am creative and working wit the team we are all bringing new ideas for activities and events as well as still running firm favourites!  My passion is about enhancing the lives of the residents from individual time through to big celebratory events.  We ensure we plan a varied and interesting programme of activities and events.  

As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

Hello, my name is Shane and I am one of the Activities Coordinators here at Paternoster House.  After many years working in busy offices I realised I wanted to work in the care sector and for 6 years I worked with young adults with autism as a support worker.  It was only when I spotted this role on Facebook that I looked to move and I am delighted I did as working here as part of the activities team is amazing.

I am dedicated to ensuring we are person-centred and I love fulfilling individual residents' wishes.  We also have so much fun here at the home with a lot of dancing and singing!  I work with the team to ensure there is a varied activities and events programme that works across all the communities here at Paternoster House.

Hello, my name is Roy and I've had the pleasure of working here for over 25 years. As Head of Maintenance I get to work with, and support all departments. My main enjoyment comes from helping our wonderful residents, whether that be assisting them with the latest technology or simply putting up a new picture in their room, it gives me time to get to know them better.  I love to garden and work with the activities team and our residents on the raised beds and have been known to do a spot of flower arranging!

Hello, my name is Lorraine and I am part of the administration team here at Paternoster House working on reception.  I started working here in 2020 and I greatly enjoy welcoming visitors into the home, it will usually be myself answering the phone or opening the door.  I love meeting and chatting to residents and their families.

Hello, my name is Lucy and I am a Care Practitioner here at Paternoster House Care Home on the Woodlands Residential Community.  I have worked at the home for nearly 5 years and I very much enjoy working with older residents and spending time with them with an absolute focus on person-centred care.
