Activities at Paternoster House Care Home

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus and visits from entertainers and musicians. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Festive sing along with Anastasia

It's always fun when Anastasia visits us here at Paternoster House.

Our monthly music for health session was enjoyed by resident's, relatives and staff who took part in a range of gentle exercises, and a musical quiz. We also shook our tambourines while singing along to Christmas Carols.

Epping Ongar Memory train

A wonderful trip to Epping Ongar Railway for their Christmas memory train ride with Epping Forest Dementia Action Alliance.

The train departed from North Weald Steam railway station and took everyone on a magical trip enjoying a range of Christmas carols, mulled wine and mince pies with a truly wonderful Christmas scenery to view. Residents were amazed with the whole experience and we would like to thank everyone involved for putting on such a great experience for all.
