Activities at Orchard House Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Day at the Seaside

We go to the seaside once a week as there are plenty of beautiful beaches around the Isle of Wight.

Easter at The Orchard

Easter at The Orchard

We had an Easter egg hunt and an Easter bonnet parade. Residents made the bonnets and wore them proudly during the parade.

St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day

Staff wore green for St Patrick's Day and our Head of Lifestyle, Maria, helped residents make cakes and Irish flags to decorate the home.

Goodbye, Trevor!

Goodbye, Trevor!

We want to say good luck and farewell to our Home Trainer, Trevor Jones, who is leaving us. It's a shame to say that Trevor will be a great loss to Orchard House, but we wish him the best of luck with his new job role.
