This beautiful purpose-built home provides high-quality residential care to older people, including those living with dementia. Our 24-hour care is provided in a warm, welcoming environment, with delicious meals, daily activities, and a choice of therapeutic support. Together, our team works to stimulate residents’ minds and empower them to approach their future in a positive way.
We provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
Essential to our homely feel is the enhanced relationship of trust we build with family, friends and residents. We always aim to deliver bespoke care to those who live at our home. Hello, my name is Diana and I am General Manager for The Fernes. Welcome to our Website!
I am privileged to have worked in Health and Social Care setting for over two decades in a variety of settings mainly with elderly and Dementia Specialist homes. Over the years I have learnt and developed my skills to listen to my residents, families and work alongside with other professionals to ensure our residents’ experience in their later years is much of what they have hoped for or even better.
At The Fernes, we have a very friendly and dedicated team of staff who strive to ensure our residents are safe, feel at home, and enjoy life to the fullest.
My strength has been in ensuring our home facilitates a five-star lifestyle with a very person centred approach, which will be unique to each resident.
