All the bedrooms at Mount House have en-suite facilities affording comfort and privacy, and many boast views of the garden or the West Midland show ground. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personalise their room to make it their own. Our maintenance team are more than happy to help with hanging favourite pictures on the walls.
Overlooking the River Severn, yet only half a mile from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, Mount House is set in one and a half acres of delightful, well-stroked gardens in a premier residential area in Shrewsbury. Becky Pugh
My name is Becky and I am the manager at Mount House & Severn View.
I started my journey with Barchester Healthcare in July 2018 as Head of Care, I progressed quickly to Deputy Manager, then became Manager of a home in November 2018. I thoroughly enjoy spending my time with the amazing people we support daily and working closely with the teams to ensure we are providing the highest quality care in our communities. I have a background in healthcare services since leaving school and have worked in various settings including hospital and hospice settings.
