Activities at Emily Jackson House Care Home
Our activities team continues to offer a wide range of activities to both mentally and physically stimulate our residents. Our activities include one to one shopping, group outings in our minibus, and regularly attending our local church and bowling club. We also enjoy the entertainment from the musicians who come and visit us as well as our PAT dog. We have a range of activities so residents with all abilities and talents can join in activities and social gatherings. We encourage families and volunteers to share the joy with us by taking part in our social events as well.

We've organised lots of fun activities for the week commencing 24th April here at Emily Jackson House.
10 Year Service Award
Congratulations to Gay Raguindin, who has just been presented with her 10 Year Service Award.
She came from The Philippines, where she was working as nurse.
She has been working at Emily Jackson House on Memory Lane looking after residents at night.
Nativity
A resident knitted some nativity figures to go along with the stable that the activities team made for her in celebration of the festive season.
Sewing
Residents at Emily Jackson really enjoy a bit of sewing every now and then to pass the time.
Autumn in the Garden
Some residents at Emily Jackson House have been spending their spare time in the garden, enjoying the seasonal weather and trimming the bushes.

Max, our new PAT dog, started last week visiting residents in the home.
