Activities at Emily Jackson House Care Home
Our activities team continues to offer a wide range of activities to both mentally and physically stimulate our residents. Our activities include one to one shopping, group outings in our minibus, and regularly attending our local church and bowling club. We also enjoy the entertainment from the musicians who come and visit us as well as our PAT dog. We have a range of activities so residents with all abilities and talents can join in activities and social gatherings. We encourage families and volunteers to share the joy with us by taking part in our social events as well.

Life at Emily Jackson House Care Home
A very distinguished visitor on Armistice Day 2019
The residents at Emily Jackson House has a lovely surprise today. Sergeant James Lang of the Royal Army Medical Core came to chat to the residents about his life in the Army. Sergeant Lang had a lot to talk about with one of our residents Alan Wilkinson who's Father was also in the Royal Army Medical Core. The two looked through Alans Fathers diary and shared it with some of our other resident.
It was Sergeant Lang's last day in uniform for the army. He will now be wearing his other hat as Chairman of the Royal British Legion.
Out & About
The residents of Emily Jackson House recently enjoyed a minibus trip to a country pub. We took a scenic route out to Ide Hill and pulled over to enjoy the views over Bough Beech Reservoir.
We arrived at ‘The Little Brown Jug’ in Chiddingstone and everybody enjoyed a drink of their choice and a packet of crisps. We drove back home via Leigh and Hildenborough admiring all the colours of the Autumn leaves.
