Activities at Cadbury Hall Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hi Im Paula and I am the activities coordinator for Cadbury Hall,
As a local lady, I have a lot of connections within the community, which will support our residents in getting out and about.
I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, and I intend to bring my wealth of experience to the role to ensure our residents get the best experience possible in their golden years.
My passion is spending time with residents, as they are full of life, fun and laughter and no two days are the same.

Life at Cadbury Hall Care Home
Cadbury Hall Open Day
It was a busy day at Cadbury Hall with an open day showing those potentially looking for care around our beautiful home. Our Head Chef, Rory and the hospitality team made a wonderful selection of cakes for our visitors and residents, there were many compliments about the food on offer. Residents enjoyed musical entertainment from The Note Warehouse it was such an enjoyable day.
New Activities Programme Launches
Cadbury Hall residents have had a great week enjoying the new activities programme from knitting to gardening and Tai Chi to games.
Cadbury Hall's Maintenance Manager, Paul is running the Gardening Club, we have lots of ideas for the garden and planting spring bulbs was a perfect place to start. Residents planted up daffodils which we hope to be in bloom for when we celebrate St David's Day on 1st March.
Christmas Day at Cadbury Hall
What a wonderful time everyone had at the first Christmas Day since Cadbury Hall opened. The hospitality team put on a delicious traditional Christmas lunch and after we all settled down to watch the first King's Speech. It was a day of laughs and everyone getting together.
Festive Evening
Cadbury Hall had such a lovely residents and family evening. There was festive food and drink, with lots of chatting and a wonderful opportunity for everyone to get to know each other.
Our Very Own Author and Artist
Jane is a British stained glass artist. Jane trained at the Kingston School of Arts from 1949 to 1951, where she specialised in weaving and stained glass, and then studied at the Royal College of Art until 1955. Jane has worked on more than a hundred windows in at least 40 churches.
Jane Gray's work has led to many commissions both sacred and secular and to the honour of being the first woman stained glass window artist to become a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Glaziers.
Community Engagement
This month our Activities team has been out in the community thanking the emergency service staff of Nailsea Police station, Nailsea Fire station, and South Western Ambulance Service for all their hard work dedication to keeping the communities safe.
Upcoming events
Scam prevention & online safety workshop
Come along to Cadbury Hall for our Scam prevention workshop. This workshop will open to everyone. Refreshments and mouth-watering treats will be on offer to all!
Fire Safety Workshop
We will be hosting a fire safety workshop at Cadbury Hall, this will be run by our local fire fighters. We will have a selection of fresh cakes and drinks on offer to all!
