Activities at Cadbury Hall Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Paula James

Activities Coordinator

Hi Im Paula and I am the activities coordinator for Cadbury Hall,

As a local lady, I have a lot of connections within the community, which will support our residents in getting out and about.

I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years, and I intend to bring my wealth of experience to the role to ensure our residents get the best experience possible in their golden years.

My passion is spending time with residents, as they are full of life, fun and laughter and no two days are the same.

Tea in First Class at Tickenham Garden Park

It was great to be out and about in the Spring sunshine today as our new minibus was put into great use to allow us to visit Garden Park at Tickenham in time for tea. We boarded a charming first class railway carriage which was the perfect venue to sit down and to enjoy one another's company. The menu was just too tempting.

Knit and Natter

It was great to see our resident's lounge hosting this week's "knit and natter". Everyone enjoyed some warm company while the knitting patterns looked amazing.

Mothers Day 2023

Residents, their families and staff all came together to celebrate a wonderful Mother's Day at Cadbury Hall on Sunday. Everyone enjoyed a fabulous three course roast dinner with a chance for a glass of wine at the meal table along with Eve's pudding for dessert. A lovely day much enjoyed by all.

At the Coffee Shop

Two of our lovely Cadbury Hall residents took a stroll into Yatton to enjoy tea for two. We returned to That Coffee Place in the popular Yatton precinct and it was wonderful to sit outside in the sunshine.

Spring Planting

The Cadbury Hall gardening club is now weekly as we head into spring. Paul is building raised beds and the residents are planting up pots to add colour all around.

Lots of Knitting and Nattering!

What a great time everyone had at Cadbury Hall's latest knit and natter. Everyone is welcome on Friday afternoons from 2pm.  Rupert is now a regular although all the fuss wore him out!
