Activities at Cadbury Hall Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life. Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hannah Lewis
Hi, my name is Hannah and I am the Activities Coordinator at Cadbury Hall.
I studied ‘Creative Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing’ at university and am passionate about using the arts to aid people’s social, physical, and mental wellbeing. In my spare time I love to dance, sing, and act, and help to run a local drama group for children aged 10-18.
With the support of all staff at Cadbury Hall and feedback from residents, we aim for a varied and person-centred activity schedule to help the residents lead rich and fulfilling lives. The best part of my day is seeing the residents get stuck in with the activities and looking at the smiles on their faces.
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Cadbury Hall Dog Show Saturday 24th June
We were delighted to welcome owners and families as well as 21 dogs to the Cadbury Hall dog show yesterday afternoon with all charity proceeds being raised for Holly Hedge Rescue Centre 10 categories but the dog that the Judges wanted to most take home was Flander, a rescue collie cross aged 5.
The last prize was very kindly donated by Pets Pantry in Clevedon and presented by Helen, Cadbury Hall’s General Manager to Chris, Flander’s owner. Our special thanks also goes to Bryony, Becky and Rose from Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary for doing such a great job with judging, while Richard, the Home Services Advisor at Cadbury Hall was delighted to hand over the proceeds of the day along with donations from the home and raffle to the team at Holly Hedge totalling some £140.00.
The Holly Hedge team are going to return to the home to give a talk to residents soon while the residents greatly enjoyed watching today’s show.

Ciara joins our team in style
Once more our ever popular Knit and Natter was eagerly awaited on Friday and as ever was therefore popular with our own residents as much as with our locals in Yatton all of whom were very welcome through our doors. Today was different though, as for the first time they were served by Ciara, as pictured, with freshly made tea who was eager to enjoy some useful work experience. Well, she has instantly become a firm favourite with everyone here and we are delighted to announce that she has accepted our invitation to continue to join us Friday’s going forward within our hospitality team. “Well done Ciara”.
