Audrene Abrigo

Audrene Abrigo

General Manager

Hi. My name is Audrene, and I am the General Manager here at Cadbury Hall. Welcome to our website.

I’m originally from Guyana, South America and I came over to the UK at the tender age of 13. My experience of working in healthcare and with the elderly, began when I was 16 years old as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home. I grew up watching my mother be a nurse to many - healing, treating and supporting her patients with their health and well-being, and it is from here that my passion grew from childhood for the nursing profession.

I am a Registered Nurse and I have worked in various roles including District Nursing, Deputy Manager, Regional Clinical Development Nurse and now I’m delighted to have been promoted to be the General Manager of Cadbury Hall. I have various qualifications, however the one I’ve recently completed is Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. This qualification has helped me to further understand myself as a leader and manager.

I have a caring and compassionate nature for elderly care, and I aim to maintain and promote good health and well-being for all Cadbury Hall residents. I look forward to bringing all the experiences and knowledge that I have gained over the years to support the residents in our care; with the main aim of providing a positive life experience. It is a passion of mine to serve this age group and I look forward to managing and leading the brilliant team at Cadbury Hall.

Please feel free to pop in and have a chat, my door is always open. Hope to see you soon.

Matthews Rajan

Matthews Rajan

Deputy General Manager

I’m Mathews Rajan, I am the Deputy Manager of Cadbury Hall. I was born and brought up in south of India. I did my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Later on, I came to UK to finish my Master’s in Marketing Management. I finished my Master’s from University of Greenwich in 2021. Later on, I started my career at Barchester in 2022 as a Health care assistant. In addition to my Master’s, I did my NVQ level-3 in Health and Social Care. I am very passionate for supporting the elderly and making sure that every resident is getting a high-quality person-centred care.

At Cadbury Hall, my main responsibility is supporting the General Manager with the day to day running of the facility. I have developed a strong mind set for supporting the elderly with utmost compassion and professionalism. I place a high value on our staff's support and well-being in addition to resident care. I think that providing exceptional care requires a great team that is content and well-supported. I promote a cooperative, team-oriented atmosphere and work directly with employees to make sure they have the resources, instruction, and assistance they require to succeed in their positions.

As I advance in my position, I'm committed to collaborate with such a committed group of people who are always looking to enhance the quality of life for our residents and support Cadbury Hall for the ongoing success.
