Cadbury Hall Care Home in North Somerset
We are planning the re-development of Cadbury Hall Care Home as the facilities and environment at the home are not aligned to the standards we expect, and strive for at Barchester Healthcare. Due to the significant work needed we are sorry to say that we are not able to do this whilst residents are living in the home, so have made the difficult decision to close the home whilst we do this. We hope that this would be completed in 2021, but it is not possible to say for sure.

You’ll find Cadbury Hall Care Home on the village high street, being a short drive from Bristol city. Our Care team offers residential care for those who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for people who have complex medical needs, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break. We also provide neurological care and rehabilitation, where we offer support for residents with complex physical disabilities or health needs resulting from a range of neurological conditions.
We run a busy activities programme so that our residents can get the most out of every day, including visits from entertainers, pantos, and choirs. We regularly have the local schools come along and visit our residents, which always puts a smile on their faces. Residents at Cadbury Hall have a choice of television lounges and quiet rooms, all perfect places to welcome friends and relatives. In the warmer months people also enjoy our secure and well maintained gardens with their ample seating. We have good connections with the local churches, schools and Cadbury garden centre who visit regularly.
We always ask residents and their families about their food preferences and dietary requirements. Our chef and catering team then work with dieticians to create meals that are nutritious and tasty, using fresh seasonal ingredients. To add more variety, we also make a point of celebrating with special meals and events throughout the year. Residents can eat in our pleasant dining rooms or, if they prefer, we’re pleased to serve them their meal in the privacy of their own rooms.
As well as providing excellent professional care, our entire team is dedicated to fostering a sense of home and of belonging. That means taking plenty of time to understand individual residents, their likes and dislikes, and exploring all the ways we can make them happy and comfortable. It’s all about giving our residents and their loved ones the confidence that we’re providing the very best of care, and delivering special resident experiences every day.
