Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Congratulations to Housekeeper, Christina, who was named Employee of the Month for January here at Bushey House Beaumont.
Memory Walk
General Manager, Heather Constance, who is a Dementia Friends Champion with the Alzheimer’s Society, organised a local sponsored Memory Walk on 25th September for the team from Bushey House Beaumont and friends. Natasha Lazovic, the Regional Director, also joined the walk. Together, the team have raised in excess of £400 and donations are still coming in.
Employee of the Month - July
Care Assistant, Gail, was named July's Employee of the Month at Bushey House. Congratulations, Gail, and thank you for all the dedication and hard work which have made this well-deserved.
Bushey Festival's Garden Party
Bushey Festival’s Garden Party is the event of the year and 2016 was no exception. We were privileged to have Pete and Jane Rutledge, the Mayor and Mayoress of Hertsmere, attend and help draw our raffle for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation. We had live musical entertainment from Jonathan Stevens, who sang 'Songs Just For You', and enjoyed a fantastic assortment of cream cakes and scones. A big thank you to Avni and his team for such a wonderful selection of cakes.
