Activities at Bryn Ivor Lodge Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hello, my name is Anna and I am the Lead Activities Co-ordinator in Bryn Ivor Lodge.
I have a degree In Tourism & Hotel Management, with specialisation in Organising Events & Activities’. I have also finished several courses and training to be able to deliver excellent activities that would work best in care settings.
I have begun my career as Activities Co-ordinator over 15 years ago and gained really good experience working in various care settings.
I am very compassionate about my job and I take great pleasure in helping others and seeing people happy. My main priority is to provide activities tailored to the needs of our Residents. I always make sure all our Residents feel included and interested in the activities our home provides. Nothing is too much trouble for me and I hope our Residents and their family and friends will spend many memorable moments enjoying the activities and events we provide.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Charity Fundraising Cake Sale Day
Thanks again to residents, staff, friends and relatives who made the event a success.
Cake Sale!
On Monday 20th September, we had a fundraising cake sale for our wonderful charity of the year - Alzheimer’s Research UK. Residents, staff, friends and relatives enjoyed lots of cake, and the total amount of money raised was £110.00.
A big thank you to everyone who baked and bought.
Dancing at Bryn Ivor Lodge
On Friday 26th August, we had a wonderful few hours of singing and dancing at Bryn Ivor Lodge. Some residents couldn’t resist the chance to dance to some classics.

Bryn Ivor's 1st Birthday!
On Friday 22nd July, Bryn Ivor Lodge had a lovely first birthday party for residents and family members.
Lots of fun was had by all in the way of singing, dancing and eating cake!
A big thank you to everyone who supported and attended, especially Jim Welch, our wonderful entertainer, who returned to Bryn Ivor Lodge especially for this occasion.
