Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Easter Egg Hunt

What an egg-cellent afternoon we have had even the sun shone for us.

Residents and Team members took part in the Easter egg hunt in our gardens.  We were so lucky to have such lovely weather, we even had time to enjoy a cup of tea and refreshments provided to our Chef.  We also had some special visitors, children from the Portuguese Community in Cheltenham.  Thank you so much to Ana Rita Frade, Íris and Fernanda for spending the day with us.

Happy Easter

Badgeworth Court residents were very pleased to receive Easter donations from Cheltenham and Bishop’s Cleve Anna Chaplaincy for older people. A lovely individual surprise with Easter gifts and a card.  We also received an Easter card from Gloucestershire Hope.  Our very own Easter bunny delivered the eggs on Easter Sunday, which was followed by a traditional Easter roast lunch.

Songs from the 60s and 70s

Today we welcomed back our regular pianist Mel Lewis. He played a variety of songs from the 60s, and 70s. He also happily takes requests taking residents' back in time with different music genre, such as jazz. It was incredible to hear classics such as the well-known Bossa Nova song the Girls from Ipanema.

Our residents had the opportunity to dance and sing along with our team members. It was a wonderful afternoon, enjoyed by everyone!
