Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home

Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

International Yoga Day

Badgeworth Court Care Centre celebrated International Yoga Day. Joana ran a yoga session with gentle exercise movements and relaxing music, it was something different and very much enjoyed by all.

We then took a group of residents out for our walking club, discovering the nature all around us, lovely to see lots of busy bees.

Busy Day!

Badgeworth Court had a lovely visit from the Cheltenham Animal Shelter who went around the whole home. They bought in a lovely dog who made us all smile.

We also celebrated World Music Day in style!  Sasha one of our student volunteers from Pate’s Grammar School played the flute in our garden while residents enjoyed their afternoon tea and fresh lemonade.  With the glorious weather a group of residents helped out with watering all the flowers and taking part in the walking club.

Fabulous 95th Birthday

Happy 95th Birthday Len! To celebrate a group of Badgeworth Court residents went for a delicious and relaxing pub lunch The Cheese Rollers in Cheltenham. What a marvellous celebration for Len to be surrounded by friends and family, a very happy day that continued in the afternoon as residents relaxed in the gardens to the melodies of Mind Song singing our favourite Tunes.

It didn’t end there, Mr Whippy Cheltenham visited us with a van with lovely ice creams.

Thank you for all the team who supported today and made it so special what a great start to the weekend!
