Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Hello, I am Corinne and I am the activities coordinator at Badgeworth Court. I previously worked in finance and wished to broaden my career. I have diploma in Performing Arts and Business, and I have background in the entertainment industry. I am committed to providing a broad range of activities and events with a focus on person centred care.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment Programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Relaxing Few Days at Badgeworth Court
It has been a relaxing, but also busy couple of days at Badegworth Court. We welcomed Martha from Gfitness for her exercise and stretching class, followed by hand massages. The residents continue to enjoy our baking club and this week requested that they made biscuits again, they also enjoy eating the end results! There was also Badgeworth Praise which is important to so many of our residents.
Regulars at Local Morrisons!
Badgeworth Court residents are enjoying trips to our local Morrisons it is an opportunity to purchase food they fancy and other things they may need and we are now regulars at the cafe!
We offer a variety of trips out in the minibus, and always ensure those who wish to go out are able to.
Memory Cafe with Mindsong
We had a wonderful afternoon at Badgeworth Court's Memory Cafe, it was packed with residents and families alike. Thank you to Mindsong whose weekly visits are always so enjoyed by our residents, everyone joined in with well-known songs like "Bring me Sunshine" and "If you were the Only Girl in the World" and with so many people the singing could be heard all around.
Thank you to our hospitality team for the homemade cakes and cheesecake which all went! We are hoping for many more Mindsong sessions in the garden over the coming months, thank you to this wonderful group of volunteers.
Residents on Top of the World
Residents were at "The Top of the World" this week as they enjoyed a tribute to The Carpenters from Mini Concerts it was such an enjoyable performance. Everyone knows The Carpenters' songs, so many classics and it was a nice change to have songs from one artist.
Trip to Gloucestershire Airport
Badgeworth Court residents recently went on a very different trip out. We visited Gloucestershire Airport at Staverton, Pat, David and Daphne had a great time watching the planes. We then enjoyed tea and tasty cake in The Aviator Inn watching the planes take off. The trip was a great hit and fun was had by all.
Pub Lunch at the Local
Badgeworth Court residents enjoyed a delicious pub lunch at The Hatherley. Jean, Terry and Ray greatly enjoyed not only the food but also being out, having a good chat and the taking in the atmosphere.
