Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

A lovely afternoon with Violinist Meg
The residents here at Badgeworth Court have enjoyed being entertained by violin player Meg. She is a very talented Musician and plays a mixture of sounds from Modern to Classic.
Residents were touched by her performance and it was a joy to watch the residents fully engaged. Meg also took the time to play to residents who were unable to attend and performed for them in their rooms. We look forward to welcoming Mel back in the new year.

Christmas Pantomime time at Badgeworth Court
Staff and residents from Badgeworth Court welcomed the Mayor of Tewkesbury, Cllr Ian Yates, for an afternoon of fabulous festive fun over the Christmas period. The Mayor met staff members, residents and their families and was given a tour of the home and gardens to see all the fantastic facilities Badgeworth Court has to offer before he joined in the festivities, which included a wonderful pantomime performance.
The Mayor’s visit coincided with local production company, North East Producers, performing Jack and the Beanstalk for the residents and their friends and families so the Councillor stayed to enjoy the production along with a delicious afternoon tea of home-made cakes and mince pies made by the home’s talented head chef, Nick, all washed down with a glass of Mulled Wine. The residents and families had a wonderful time.

Chorley's Auctioneers Valuation Event
Badgeworth Court was the perfect location to host an antiques valuation morning in our stunning home dating back to 1829. We were delighted to welcome experts Werner, Becky and Will from Chorley's Auctioneers. Residents, family members and some of the team bought in a wide selection of antiques.
The oldest item was a bible dating back to 1752, a very grand book with stunning calligraphy Terry bought along a beautiful presentation box with a silver jug and sifter that was a wedding gift in 1962, the gift was London silverware dated 1925. Activities Coordinator, Corrine bought in ornamental German plaques, other items included Jennifer's childhood teddy and a striking oil painting of Mima's childhood home. There were some special stories behind many of the valuables including silk postcards sent from France during World War 1, a figurine bought back from Denmark and a Masonic Medal dated 1877. It really was a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting morning.
Thank you so much to the team at Chorley's Auctioneers for your time and imparting your range of knowledge.
