Activities at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators provide a stimulating social programme to suit residents' individual tastes and desires, and offer group or one-to-one activities based on individual preferences. We are a dedicated team that always ensures residents have enough to do to keep them stimulated and entertained. There are regular trips out on the minibus to nearby places of interest, and exercise classes to suit people of all capabilities, in addition to much, much more.

Hello, I am Corinne and I am the activities coordinator at Badgeworth Court. I previously worked in finance and wished to broaden my career. I have diploma in Performing Arts and Business, and I have background in the entertainment industry. I am committed to providing a broad range of activities and events with a focus on person centred care.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment Programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

Life at Badgeworth Court Care Home
Double Celebration for Badgeworth Team
The Badgeworth Court team started the week being awarded Team of the Year in their region in the Barchester Care Awards 2022. This is well deserved recognition for this outstanding team.
Badgeworth Court then ended the week delighted to announce Badgeworth Court Care Centre has been rated overall OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission.
We have been awarded two outstanding rating for key questions of responsive and well-led and three good ratings for key questions of Safe, Effective and Caring. We would love to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of our team of Badgeworth Court and our amazing leader and mentor, Regional Director Xin Zhao.
Badgeworth Court General Manager, Anna Satora said:

World Chess Day Games
Today we celebrate World Chess day with a game between residents and team members. It was a great afternoon and after the tense play we enjoyed coffee and cake in our Reception!
Summer Fair Preparations
Badgeworth Court are preparing for our Summer Fair, which we are very much looking forward to. This event has been now been rescheduled for Saturday 13th August so do put the new date in your diaries. The residents have been working on making decorations including making a frame of flowers all made from different materials. Everyone is so enjoying all the preparations for this lovely annual event.
Table Tennis Competition
There was a great start to the week as residents and team members took part in the Badgeworth Court table tennis competition in our grounds. The winners from today were Peter and Ray.
In the afternoon, we held a creative beach themed day in the grounds including different games including hook the duck and beach ball. Afterwards, Joana dressed up with in a fantastic vintage summer costume to deliver ice creams for all.
It was a great Monday!
Exciting Wimbledon Fortnight
Badgeworth Court Care Centre enjoyed Wimbledon fortnight with the traditional strawberries and cream accompanied by Pimms. We all were able to then share our memories of tennis and some of the greatest players as well as discussing the current games some of which have been very close. We also had our own games of balloon tennis! We are looking forward to watching the Men's Final!
Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Shilu who is Employee of the Month for June at Badgeworth Court Care Centre. Shilu is a lovely Carer, she is kind, considerate, hardworking, and dedicated to our residents and their relatives. Well done Shilu!
