Activities at Ashchurch View Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Easter Bonnet Parade
We hosted an Easter parade recently. It was fun, even though we had to adhere to the government's social distancing guidelines.
Senior Citizens' Tea Party
The Rotary Club of Tewkesbury held their annual Senior Citizens' Tea Party at the Watson Hall on 23rd February.
Over 100 Senior Citizens from Tewkesbury were entertained by the Gloucester Strings Ukulele Band.
Burns Night
We celebrated the life of Scottish poet, Robert Burns, with a traditional Haggis during lunch, a wonderful bagpipe performance and many traditional poems.
Valentine's Day
We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Ashchurch View with a themed lunch. It really was a special day for our residents, as they showed their affection for one another by reading love cards, arranging flowers, and sharing chocolates with sweet messages.
Fantastic Carols from Ashchurch Primary School
We were lucky to have a visit from the pupils of Ashchurch Primary School, who sang a selection of carols for the residents. A big thank you to the students who were brilliant and really got all all into the festive spirit.
Panto Time!
Residents of Ashchurch View enjoyed a trip to The Roses Theatre to watch Aladdin this week with an ice cream for afterwards!
