Activities at Arbour Court Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a variety of activities and events for all residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus, visits from entertainers and musicians and small group and individual activities in quiet yet stimulating environments. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect resident individual interests as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Arbour Court Care Home
Arts & Crafts
Our most recent arts & crafts session consisted of model building, drawing and painting. We all shared our ideas about arts and crafts and enjoyed seeing everybody’s different pictures
Pancake Day
To celebrate Pancake Day, we came up with a recipe and let everybody join in and have a whisk of the delicious pancake mix.
We garnished the pancakes with strawberries, syrup, whipped cream and served them with tea and coffee. The residents enjoyed the day thoroughly.
Long Service Award
Congratulations to Corina Vlada, who very recently received a Long Service Award here at Arbour Court.
Lyme Park
Residents had a lovely stroll around Lyme Park to enjoy the hot weather.
Care Home Open Day
We had a great time celebrating Care Home Open Day at Arbour Court. We had some musical entertainment, karaoke, and outdoor games on the day which everyone thoroughly enjoyed!
We also had a visit from our local Conservative MP, William Wragg. Thank you to all who made the day so special!
Flower arranging at Arbour Court
We recently spent the afternoon flower arranging here at Arbour Court, where residents created their own arrangements. A great afternoon was had by all, we have some very creative people in the home!
