Activities at Arbour Court Care Home
Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a variety of activities and events for all residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus, visits from entertainers and musicians and small group and individual activities in quiet yet stimulating environments. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect resident individual interests as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Life at Arbour Court Care Home
Buxton Park
We headed down to Buxton on the minibus for a picnic in the park to celebrate National Picnic Week. Luckily, the sun was shining and we had a lovely day out.
Anniversary Celebrations
We threw a party for a lady who was celebrating her 60th wedding anniversary here at Arbour Court. All of her family came in and we played music, drank wine, danced and ate lots of cake to celebrate such an amazing day! Residents all raised a glass for this wonderful couple.
Hand & Nail Care
Hand and nail care is very popular with the ladies here at Arbour Court. They love getting their hands massaged before painting their nails.
Getting Creative
Residents love when we host arts and crafts session, as it gives them the opportunity to get creative.
International Women's Day
To celebrate International Women’s Day, we did a quiz about powerful women from history, which residents and visitors loved doing.
Pancake Day
We went on a trip to Crème’s Café for some amazing pancakes with toppings of our own choices.
