Activities at Arbour Court Care Home

Our specialist activities staff are committed to organising a variety of activities and events for all residents and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus, visits from entertainers and musicians and small group and individual activities in quiet yet stimulating environments. It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as possible, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect resident individual interests as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to join with activities and events as often as they can.

Breakfast Club

We recently had a Breakfast Club here at the home where we all enjoyed some lovely cooked breakfast, coffee and orange juice, whilst having a chat about what was in the papers. We're looking forward to the next one!

Our Divisional Winner

Congratulations to staff member, Kelly Tatton, who has been named as a divisional winner in the 'Apprentice / Learner of the Year' category for the 2017 Barchester Care Awards.

Stockport Star Awards

Folks from Arbour Court and Marple Dale attended the Stockport Star Awards at the Cheshire Conference Centre recently. This annual event celebrates the achievement of young people in the borough.

Kerry Fletcher was named winner of the 'Best Nurse Award' and Kieran won the 'Best Carer Award'. Michelle was also nominated for Best Nurse.

Summer Fair

We had lots of fun at our summer fair; we managed to raise £484.37p, which is something that we're really proud of. A massive thank you to all the staff, families and residents who joined in with the fun.

A Busy Few Months at Arbour Court

Everyone at Arbour Court has had a very busy year so far. We've celebrated birthdays, St Patrick's Day, the Queen's 90th, Easter - and had lots of garden tea parties.
