Activities at Adlington Manor Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Lynne Bowler
I joined the activities team at Adlington Manor in May 2017. Previously, I have worked as a tree surgeon and have had heavy involvement with the Guides and Brownies. I love participating in activities with residents, whether that's by driving the minibus on trips outside the home, or by engaging in themed days.
I am passionate about my role and especially the challenge of coming up with new ways to engage as many residents as possible in our activities here.

Long Service Award
Congratulations to Pat Bronbley, who recently received her 20 years of service award.
Adlington Flower Festival
We were joined by the Mayor of Bollington, Alan Williams, for our spring flower festival to celebrate the start of a new era, following significant investment to the home.
Visitors were welcomed to come and view ourstylish new interior and to enjoy a day of floral fun, with everything from flower displays and music to balloon artistry. Guests sipped on locally brewed beer and tucked into a tasty buffet cooked by the home’s award-winning Head Chef.
The Mayor of Bollington drew the raffle and chatted to staff and residents about what life was like at Adlington Manor and what they thought of the home’s fresh new look. He even had a dance with some of the ladies when the saxophonist started playing.
Employee of the Month - January
Congratulations to Racheal Bladerson, who was named January's Employee of the Month here at Adlington Manor. Racheal was nominated by a relative for her exceptional care and respect.
