Activities at Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community

Our team of activities staff and volunteers are constantly striving to improve the lives of our residents. This includes the quality of our regular entertainers, the new PAT dog and cat visits, the new singing entertainment in residents bedrooms and the personalised visits by volunteers. We also encourage relatives and friends to join in with activities and trips out whenever they can.

As the festive season begins, the team at Wimbledon Beaumont would like to encourage you to join them to take part in our varied activities and regular trips out.

Life at Wimbledon Beaumont Care Community

Remember, Remember

Residents worked extremely hard blowing up balloons, scrunching up pieces of newspaper and stuffing clothing to make a Guy Fawkes.

Meet the Author

Barbara kindly arranged a Zoom session, where she read her newest book, 'The Cat Who Didn't Know He is Orange'. Our residents really enjoyed the reading and engaged with Barbara by asking plenty of questions.

Our Little Helper

Our wonderful resident, Irene, enjoys helping Julie in preparing the Daily Sparkle, which will then be distributed to other residents within the home.

Beauty Treatments

We wanted our residents to enjoy the last few days on sun with a pampering afternoon. Lola is our weekend receptionist, who is also a qualified beautician. Our residents enjoyed a fragrant hand massage and a relaxing manicure.

Afternoon Tea

Wimbledon Beaumont residents gathered in the beautiful garden to enjoy an afternoon of homemade cakes, biscuits and sandwiches, accompanied with a hot cup of tea and coffee.

Birthday Celebrations

Irene and John celebrated their birthdays outside in our garden surrounded by their loved ones and the staff at Wimbledon Beaumont.
