Activities at White Lodge Care Home
Our Activities Coordinators here at White Lodge enjoy the fulfillment of helping residents feel important and a part of something. Meaningful moments are created through laughter and comfort. A varied activities programme is offered for the betterment of residents' bodies and minds, including music for health, 'Oomph' sessions and chair Zumba, in addition to coffee and cake groups that all inevitably lead to giggles and old fashioned singalongs. Also, we organise parties, trips out, walks in the country, bus outings and wonderful entertainers to visit our home. A sneaky tipple is always welcomed with cheese and crackers and, at the end of the day, it is important to go home knowing our activities have made a difference.

Life at White Lodge Care Home
Sing Along with Julie
A White Lodge favourite, Julie Hunt, recently enjoyed an afternoon of singing as the 50's and 60's singer sung the residents some all time favourites. Everyone had a great afternoon singing and dancing along together!
Cooking Morning
The residents from White Lodge recently enjoyed their cooking morning where they prepped all the vegetables for their dinner. It got all their appetites going!
Time of Knit and Knatter
The residents of White Lodge love to get together for an afternoon of knitting and catching up! Its the perfect time for them to do their favourite activity and have a well desevered catch up with one another.
Bill Etesten Visits
The residents from White Lodge recently enjoyed an afternoon of music from a very popular guest Bill Etesten. Its safe to say he got the residents up joining in!
Arts and Crafts at White Lodge
Residents from White Lodge got together and made trinket boxes. They used jewels and different patterns to make all their different boxes!
Songs of Praise
The residents from White Lodge recently enjoyed their Songs of Praise session with Rev. David Perkins. All the residents got involved in singing the Christmas Carols.
Upcoming events
Farm Day
Good Day Farm will be visiting the home with their farmyard animals on Monday 20th May. We will have sheep, goats, pigs and even alpacas! Everyone is welcome to join us
White Lodge Garden Party
Join us for our Garden Party on Sunday 26th May where we will have live performance by the Swindon Brass Band. Spaces are limited so please contact us to book tickets.
Fabulous 50's Fete
Shake, Rattle & Roll to Hethersett Hall for a 1950s celebration at our annual summer fete on Friday 26th July 2-4pm. Classic Cars, Buffet, Concert and Dress Up all happening!
Pudding Club
Join us for our brand new event 'Pudding Club' hosted by Jenny. Indulge in delicious delights together every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
