"We would like to say thank you for looking after our mum so well. We shared a beautiful meal with mum today to celebrate her birthday, Herminia did a wonderful job of looking after the three of us. The curry was very tasty."

"I had a two week respite stay at White Lodge while my daughter was on holiday. The premisses are of a very good standard and set in a lovely surroundings. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble, the facility's were we well above what i was expecting and this was my first experience a care home. My only small criticisms would be the choices of food at meal times, it was always of a good quality but limited choice. This was an enjoyable stay and would strongly recommend White Lodge having now looked at other Care Homes in the locality White Lodge was definitely the one for me."

"My father has been a resident here for nearly 4 years. The staff are amazing. They respect every resident and really go out of their way to find ways to make people feel comfortable and at home. Eg: My father is obsessed with South Africa and so they organised a whole South African day for him, with flags, South African food, a drumming band, he was thrilled! He is not the easiest of people, and will often stay in his room alone if he was left to do that. But the staff at White Lodge always push the residents to keep active, eat well and get involved in activities which in turn helps each resident to settle in and feel part of the family. We are all so grateful to the wonderful staff at White Lodge. You are all LEGENDS! Thank you."

My father has been a resident here for 3 years and the staff have always been so caring and attentive. I am so grateful to them, knowing he is safe and happy. They go above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. It is not easy looking after someone with advanced dementia especially if they get angry or are incontinent. But the staff always keep him clean and respect his wishes. Highly recommend.

A beautiful home with a wonderful atmosphere! I bring my music classes here, each time we have been welcomed with open arms by both staff and residents. The home is truly stunning, extremely clean and offers a range of wonderful activities. I love following what the residents are up to on Facebook! The residents appear happy and are extremely happy to talk to visitors/ask for help suggesting they feel comfortable and safe in their surroundings.😊

"My mother has now been in residence for 4 and a half months. She has settled in really quickly and slipped into daily routine. The staff are always friendly and happy, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent.. 5 stars. Many thanks to all catering staff who are working in the background. The activities are wonderful, keeping the residents stimulated."

"Any apprehesion about bringing my father from his beloved own home to While Lodge was instantly dispelled. He loves it here: The residents are sociable, one activities wonderful + the staff are obviously a team, working + supporting each other & support the residents. Visitors are made welcome + it is a delight + a relief to know we found a place father loves + deserves to live in."

A wonderful afternoon celebrating my Mum's 90th birthday! A huge thanks to Shayla for decorating the room and making it so special. The room looked incredible! Thank you also to Richard and the team for the wonderful food and beautiful cake. We were all able to relax and enjoy the party because White Lodge did all the hard work. Mum really enjoyed the afternoon and precious memories were made for the family. ❤️

"I have enjoyed my brief stay 100%! The house is full of laughing, smiling, friendly people and the staff of nurses and helpers are so friendly and helpful, always charming and smiling. Laughter is never far away. As a consequence of all of this, the residents smile and greet each other and are equally friendly. I like it here very much and hope to return one day as a full-time resident."

"During my mum's week of respite, I was impressed by the kindness, friendliness and competency of all the staff I came in contact with. Mum's wishes were always at the centre of whatever she was involved with. Activities were arranged on a daily basis and staff were encouraging and supportive of residents to engage, socialise and have fun. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff, whatever their role. The food was excellent and choices were always available. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her time there and is looking forward to returning in the future."

"We spent a really lovely afternoon at the 1950's fete. The staff made so much effort by dressing up and involving all the residents. Great singers, dancers and a lovely atmosphere."
