Activities at Wheatlands Care Home

Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Snowed In!

Snowed In!

Fran Sharp came in to work at 6:00 a.m. on Friday 2nd March to help shovel the snow out of the way so that staff members could park in the car park, walk up the drive and come into work safely without having to worry about slipping on the snow. Shovelling the snow out of the way also allowed residents to go outside for some fresh air and let loved ones visit without a hitch.
