Activities at Wheatlands Care Home

Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Christmas at Wheatlands

Residents enjoyed making sprout pom-poms for the festive season. We also created a Christmas grotto for the local primary school children, who got the chance to meet Santa. There were plenty of mince pies and eggnog to go round.

Keeping Fit

Keeping Fit

Residents love keeping active at Wheatlands and, as you can see, our weekly Keep Fit session is one not be missed – guaranteed giggles involved!

Summer Fête

The local belly dancers always help to liven up the place, and were one of the main attractions at our Summer Fête. They were thoroughly enjoyed by all residents and visitors appeared enthralled by them too. Lynn Day and Sarah Benammar can be seen enjoying the Pimm's bar at the Summer Fête.
