Activities at The Warren Care Home

Here at The Warren, our activities team are always very busy thinking of new ways to keep residents active, both physically and mentally. We have regular trips out in the minibus, both locally and further a field, including the London Eye and the Thames River Trip), at least once a week during the summer months. We also enjoy visits from PAT dogs and have professional exercise sessions and live entertainment, which are always popular.

Kirstie Tifrani

Activities Coordinator

My name is Kirstie and I am lucky enough to be the Activities Coordinator here at The Warren.

I have many years of experience working in care homes in Activities and leisure and lifestyle roles.

I love being part of The Warren team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the importance of residents' input into our weekly planner is important giving all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous interests and hobbies.

Life at The Warren Care Home

Mother's Day

We had lots of fun setting up our dining room all ready for Mother's Day.

Live Music Performance

Music is popular at the Warren, we have weekly live music sessions that our residents really look forward to. Any excuse for a dance!

Flower Arranging Session

A flower arranging group brought some early Spring joy to the Warren. Residents enjoyed the session.

Trip to Wroxham Road

Residents embraced the cold January weather for a trip to Wroxham Broad. They thoroughly enjoyed watching the varied birds, but were glad to be in the warmth of the minibus.

Santa Visited the Warren

Following a visit from our friends from Once Upon a Time Nursery School to pick up their presents from our very own Father Christmas, it was the residents' turn. The tradition at The Warren is to give all the residents their individual presents on Christmas Eve followed by an individual handmade traditional knitted stocking filled with goodies on Christmas Day.

The children and residents' laughter and positive comments prove that no matter what your age is, the festive period remains magical.

Christmas Cheer

We have been very busy here at the home, with so many Christmas events over the festive period and several evening parties. From bell ringers to Elvis, traditional carol services to a good old fashioned knees up, much fun was had by all. Families and friends old and new visited and the Warren was filled with festive cheer!
