Activities at Tennyson Wharf Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.
Donna Jones
Donna joined the Tennyson Wharf Family in April 2023.
As an Activities Coordinator, Donna helps to ensure that residents enjoy an environment that is both stimulating and socially active to keep residents engage. The team take time to ensure they all know each residents' interests so that the team can deliver a person-centered program of events and activities.
Donna has a passion for helping others and is settling into her new role great!

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Our Lovely Christmas Tree
Christmas really wouldn't be the same without waking up to a beautiful tree on Christmas morning, so we made sure ours was as beautiful as it could possibly be.
A Very Important Date!
Residents had a lovely time eating and drinking at our Alice in Wonderland-themed tea party.
Fireworks Night
Folks at Tennyson Wharf got together to light some fireworks on Bonfire Night.
Employee of the Month - November
A big congratulations to our November Employee the Month. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
So far, we've managed to raise around £120 for Macmillan Cancer Support with our coffee morning - and we're still counting!
