Hi, my name is Victoria, and I am the General Manager here at Tennyson Wharf. Welcome to the website!
I have worked in the care sector for 11 years, starting my career as a care assistant. After completing my qualifications I quickly progressed into management roles in 2016. I grew up in Lincoln, leaving in 2009 to study in Leeds, where I then went on to become the manager of a residential care home specialising in dementia care. After 11 years in Leeds, I am so thrilled to be back in my home town of Lincoln.
I am passionate about promoting independence, empowering people to live the fullest life they wish to and always providing outstanding care and support. I look forward to greeting you on your next visit.
Hello! I’m Vicky the Deputy Manager here at Tennyson Wharf. I am both passionate and dedicated to ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of person-centered care in a respectful and dignified manner. I began working within the care sector in 2014 and have loved every step of the journey from an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to now a dynamic Deputy Manager. I look forward to meeting you when you visit.
I was an Administrator for over 30 years. More recently, I have cared for my partner’s mum, who lived with us at home, and have undertaken care in the community. I love making a positive contribution to enhancing the lives of the elderly, and find it both rewarding and a joy. I feel it helps to have an outgoing, friendly, approachable disposition, and be thoughtful and creative.
Claire is our experienced care assistant at Tennyson Wharf. She loves working with our elderly residents and helping them with all their daily needs.
Louise is our head of Thomas Walk community and has worked at Tennyson Wharf as a senior care assistant for over four and a half years! She loves her job and we love having her as a part of our team!
Adriana is our experienced Care Practitioner at Tennyson Wharf. She inspires her team to deliver quality, person-centred care. She provides support for assessments or care planning and our residents are always her unwavering focus.
Lorraine is the RGN here at Tennyson Wharf. She came to us last year with over 40 years of experience in nursing. She really enjoys her job abd is a great asset to the team.
Dawn is our Head Chef who joins the team here at Tennyson Wharf with a wealth of catering experience. Dawn was military trained and latterly worked in the RAF as a chef. She is passionate about delivering freshly prepared, nutritious meals with a person centred approach. In her spare time Dawn enjoys keeping fit by running and visiting the gym, and she also has a young family to keep her busy.
Joey is our activities co-ordinator and joined the team in 2019. She brings great enthusiasm and spark to Tennyson Wharf. Joey and her team are delivering an amazing, vibrant activities programme to cater to all tastes and abilities. It is their passion to ensure that residents, family, friends are left happy and content and very much looking forward to the next activity!
Sharon is out Hostess at Tennyson Wharf. She loves to greet our residents, relatives and all visitors to the home in a warm friendly manner, offering refreshments where appropriate. Sharon helps support residents to maintain independence by pouring their own drinks, and helping themselves wherever possible.
Antonio is our Head of Maintenance and he comes to us with 15 years of experience in the care industry. He ensures everything is working as it should be at Tennyson and that any repairs are done with great attention to detail.
Kelly has worked in the care sector for over 15 years in the roles of a support worker and as a housekeeper. She has been at Tennyson Wharf as the Head Housekeeper since 2015. Kelly and her staff always maintain the highest standards of tidiness and cleanliness for our residents at all times.
Tracy is our housekeeping assistant. She ensures all of our residents rooms are clean and tidy at all times and helps provide refreshments to the residents throughout the day.
