Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

National Chocolate Cake Day !
The 27th January is the perfect day to have your cake and eat it. As It is National Chocolate Cake Day!
No one is sure who created the day, but to be honest Shelburne Lodge doesn't mind, as any excuse to eat chocolate cake. is a good one, The beautiful cake's were made by our fabulous Head Chef and his team and were as delicious as they look !
International Flower Day !
To mark International Flower day residents at Shelburne Lodge took part in a number of flower-based activities throughout the day. They enjoyed a flower arranging master class and made beautiful decorations to display around the home and some residents gave them as gifts to loved ones.
They also reminisced about their gardens and made a plan for what they would like to plant in Shelburne's garden in the spring. Their collective knowledge about flowers gained from years of gardening experience was very impressive.

Residents at Shelburne Lodge really enjoy there pamper afternoons with Jemma. Hand massage, a manicure or a visit to our very own hair salon.

To show our appreciation Marina General Manager and Magda Unit Manager at Shelburne Lodge delivered a brunch of home baked goodies to High Wycombe Ambulance station.

There is nothing more festive than putting on your favorite Christmas jumper. Residents and team members donned their fabulous jumpers to raise money for a fantastic charity Save the Children UK.

Residents, their loved ones and team members have been generously donating to the two charities Shelburne Lodge are supporting One Can Trust and Wycombe Food Hub are doing a fantastic job supporting local families. Everyone has been so kind.
Every Christmas Barchester Healthcare arrange a gift for all staff members. This year some of the team members at Shelburne Lodge have asked their General Manager if their gift from Barchester can be donated to the food banks. How very kind and thank you team Shelburne.
